Easter Island, Chile

Stop by at Chile and seen some of the best works of sculptures from history. The Moai are carved from quarry rocks, these beautiful works of art are said to represent the ancestors of the Rapanui people.

The mode of transportation used to move the sculptures from the quarry to the hills remains a subject of debate for many archeologists. Many of them argued that the statues were tied with ropes and moved up the hills, but the Rapanui people claim the statues made their way to the hills.

Tikal National Park, Guatemala
